Connectiing Microsoft Office 365 to LeadsNavi

This guide explains how to securely connect your Microsoft Business Email to Leadsnavi. Using the Microsoft Admin Center, you’ll enable SMTP and IMAP authentication for your user account, ensuring that Leadsnavi can send and receive emails directly through your Microsoft mailbox. After saving the changes, allow up to one hour for the settings to fully propagate before completing the connection in Leadsnavi.

1. Access the Microsoft Admin Center

Log in to your Microsoft Admin Center on your computer using an administrator account. Ensure you have proper permissions to manage user settings.

2. Navigate to Active Users

From the admin dashboard, locate and click on Users (https://admin.microsoft.com/adminportal/home#/users) in the left-hand menu, then select Active Users to view your organization’s user list.

3. Configure Email App Settings

  • Select the specific user account you want to bind to LeadsNavi.
  • In the user details panel, navigate to the Mail tab.
  • Click on Manage email apps to access protocol settings.

4. Enable SMTP and IMAP Authentication

  • Locate the Authenticated SMTP option and check the box to enable it. This allows secure outgoing email via SMTP.
  • Ensure the IMAP checkbox is also selected (it may be enabled by default, but verify to confirm incoming email access).

Click Save Changes to apply the configurations. A confirmation message will appear, noting that updates may take time to propagate.

5. Wait for Propagation and Connect to LeadsNavi

  • Allow up to 1 hour for the settings to take effect. This delay ensures the authentication protocols are fully activated.
    • For Onboarding Users: If you are still in the onboarding process, simply enter your email address and follow the guided steps to complete the setup.
    • For Adding Additional Accounts: If you wish to add another email account, navigate to the Accounts section in your LeadsNavi account. Follow the instructions there to bind your new email account. You can refer to the image below for guidance.
  • After the waiting period, log in to your LeadsNavi account, navigate to Accounts, and enter your email credentials. Leadsnavi will automatically detect the enabled SMTP and IMAP settings to complete the binding process.

Key Notes:

  • If you encounter connection issues, verify that both protocols are enabled and wait the full hour for settings to update.
